When we promise that we will

cheaper than the mail order
houses you certainly ought to
investigate. There is not a
piano advertised by a mail order
house that we will not sell you
cheaper and - give you just as
good terms.

tailes in each direction from the
court house are in favor of issu-
ing bonds for the purpose of
building good roads. This is
only the first step toward mak-
ing Rusk County one of the
leading counties in East Texas,
and she will finally have a
permanent set of roads leading
out of Henderson, connecting us
with the larger towns of our
sister counties. This enterpris-
ing move is being endorsed by
almost ev$ry citizen within the
territory named, and should have
a unanimous decision for the
bond issue.—Rusk County News.
You speak as, one having
sanguinity. Gut our advice is
to wait until the votes are count
ed before you go about issuing
the bonds. Many folks nearly
every where have an nnaecount-
ab!e aversion to voting road
bonds. They dream about “bur-
dening'posterity,”’ and they
shiver in their sleep at sight of
specters in the gmsfr Of tax
collectors.come to sell out the
old home. As a matter of fact,
of course, the average property
owner pays out twice as muoh in
the way of repairs and renewal
of. vehicles and harness on
account'of bad roads hs he needs
to pay out in road taxes on
account of good roads. That is
generally admitted yet when
the people come together at the
polls to say whether they shall
have bad roads or good roads
they more than half the time
decide to have bad roads. So,
if we were you. Dick, we would
not sell the chickens till the
hatchingB finished, nor yet
would we bo’ler before emerging
from the woods.—State Dress.

To thp citizens of Freestone Co.:
I have bten in the Nursery
business at Waxahacbie, Texas,
for the past 20 years, and just
recently^ sold out my'$25,000
stock at that place and bought
land adjoining the city of Teague
on East end of Main street od
Dew road, where I expect to con-
duct a model truck and fruit bus-
iness for commercial purposes.
In making the sale of my Nur-
sery at Waxahachie, I reserved
$1500 worth of the stock, retain-
ing the privilege of personally
selecting the very best I had to
bring with me, for the purpose
of stocking my own place and
offering $1000 worth to the peo
pie of Freestone county; a quali
ty of stock not obtainable other-
wise.
I have this stock now heeled
out in first-class condition on my
place at Teague, and it consists
chiefly of peaches, plums, pears,
apples, apricots, grape vines,
evergreens and flowering shrubs,
and have a number of varieties
of each kind named. Come to
my yard and make a personal
selection of your wants. I will
appreciate your patronage, and
remember you are getting the
very best of each kind and at no
advance iir price C. L. Kidd,
