Our crops are doing well and
if it does not rain too much in
Uie uu» six weeks I think
there will be an average bottom
crop njnde. Will not save much
fodder this summer. Some Are
not done work aqd some will not
get done until front.
I believe the best
m^n
is the man that does the
most good for his family and
community.. I, believe every man
in the county ought to take his
home paper, which is published
at the county site. By so doing
wd chuld keep up with the court
news and all laws er cted, and
we can keep up with our officers,
which will enable us to know
how to vote, and also acquaint
us with the work of the Commis-
sioners’ Court, the most import-
ant branch of county govern-
ment. So, you can 'plainly see
the benefit in reading the Re-
corder, it only eosts $1 peryear
and the information you acquire
will pay you more than ten times
its cost, and the paper is clean
and moral in every respect. The
Editor deserves much praise for
his great work, considering the
difficulties which have beset him
in his early days.
