H. D. Todd, ol Cleveland, Miss.,
visited the family of J. D. Fisher
last week.
Mrs. F. B. Nayer went to Corpus
Cbrisli Tuesday of last week aud
relured Friday.
John F. Meade, of Savannah, Mo.,
was in Alice Thursday, and a pleas
am caller at the Echo office. Me is
in ibis section prospecting.
Ferd Lehmann, proprietor of the
Halletsville Herald, but who is now
on the road representing ihe Amrr- ,
lean Type Foundiy, was in Alice
Friday. Me is one of the most po
puiai newspaper men in Texas, and

John Ragland came in from San
Antonio Saturday night and went
to Kingsville by private conveyance
