THERE’S MAGIC IN THE WORD “CREME”
Velvety cremes that pamper your complexion . . . bland
creme shampoos that cleanse you| hair . . . mild creme lo-
tions that wave your tresses. But until recently a “creme
permanent” meant only that a creme waving solution was
used. Now, Raymond Laboratories of St. Paul, world’s
largest hair research laboratories, announces that your beau-
tician can both wave your hair with creme AND neutralize
your hair with creme— Thi snew process is called the RAY-
ETTE SUPER-FLEX Permanent... The manufacturers claim
it is the
First True ALL CREME Permanent
THE WAVE THAT GIVES YOUR HAIR A CREME
TREATMENT WHILE IT CURLS!
As many of you already know, in a cold wave there is
a starting and a stopping step. Application of the waving
lotion starts the^ processing of the curls. At the proper time,
this action must be stopped. That’s called the neutralizing
(or stopping) step. The neutralizer, or fixative as it is
sometimes called, is applied to lock the curls into the hair.
Otherwise the curls will not be “permanent.”
IN RAYETTE SUPER-FLEX
—the great innovations and improvements are in this
all-important neutralizing step. When your beautician de-
cides your hair has the right amount of curl, she applies a
CREME fixative that stops the waving action . . . gives the
curls added sparkle and spring . . . treats them to an ad-
ditional creme bath which leaves your hair soft, natural-
looking, sweet-smelling. You can SEE the difference—you
can FEEL the difference in your hair after it has been neu-
tralized with creme.
BUT THE UNIQUE FEATURE
of RAYETTE SUPER-FLEX is the way in which this
creme fixative is applied. Your hair is wound on a re-
markable new hollow rod. The neutralizer is injected
through this rod. This means that the neutralizer flows
through the slotted rod from the INSIDE OF THE CURL
out to the surface. «
UNTIL NOW, YOUR BEUTICIAN
never could be sure your hair was completely neutral-
ized. But with the RAYETTE SUPER-FLEX INJECTOR
system of neutralizing, she can SEE the fixative bubble out
through each curl. She knows each curl is thoroughly neu-
tralized.
THE COMBINATION -
of creme fixative plus “inside out” neutralization means
soft, lovely curls the moment you leave the salon . . . better
hair condition ... a wave that’s longer-lasting and easier
to care for.
