MR. AND MRS. ROBERT PATRICK
Miss Angeline Schwartz Becomes Bride of
A/2c Robert Patrick at Methodist Church
Miss Angeline Schwartz, dau-
ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Schwartz of La Grange, became
the bride of A/2c Robert Patrick
who is stationed at Bergstrom
Air Force Base, in a ceremony
performed in the Travis Street
Methodist Church on Saturday, Jan.
20, at 6 p.m. Rev. Paul Grout
performed the ceremony.
The church was decorated with
white mums and gladlolas. Music
was provided by Mrs. W. W. John-
son who also accompanied Miss
Margaret Janssen and Miss Carla
Fritsch who sang a duet.
The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. R. J. Patrick of Port Lava-
ca.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father and wore a
white floorlength gown of lace
with long sleeves. A white tiara
held her veil of tulle. She car-
ried white orchids surrounded
by glamelias, bells, and buds.
Jeanette Schwartz, sister of the
bride of La Grange, was the maid
of honor. She wore a blue bro-
caded satin floorlength sleeveless
gown and carried a bouquet of
white mums with blue net.
Nancy Patrick, sister of the
groom of Port Lavaca was the
bridesmaid and was dressed Iden-
tical to the honor attendant.
Arlan Gaylor of Bergstrom Air
Force Base was the bestman and
the groomsman was Loydell Wled
of La Grange. Monroe Mackey
and Kirk Coates, both of Bergs-
trom were the ushers.
The bride’s mother wore a beige
suit with matching accessories
and a white carnation corsage.
The groom’s mother also wore
a beige suit with matching acces-
sories and a white carnation cor-
sage.
A reception was held at the
Presbyterian Fellowship Hall. The
bride’s table was covered with a
white net tablecloth and held the
white wedding cake wMi a bride
and groom on top.
Mrs. Donald McCorn, sister of
the groom, registered the guests
and was assisted by Miss Joan
Janssen- The cake was cut and
served by MrS.'-€.l*rt.*Henrichsen,
an aunt of the bride. She was
assisted by Miss Carla Fritsch.
Miss Louise Mitschke served
the punch and the coffee was ser-
ved by Miss Margaret Janssen.
Upon leaving for a wedding trip,
the bride was wearing a brown
suit with black accessories and
the orchid from her bridal bou-
quet.
The bride is a graduate of La
Grange High School and Durham’s
Business College and is now work-
ing for the Austin Public Schools.
The groom attended Calhoun
High School and Victoria Junior
College and is now stationed at
Bergstrom Air Force Base. *
REHEARSAL SUPPER
Mr. and Mrs. Delvin Janssen
were hosts to a rehearsal supper
at the bride’s home. Turkey, po-
tato salad, potato chips, carrot
jello, pickles and olives, iced tea
and chocolate chitlon cake were
served.

Mr. and Mrs. George J.
Adamcik and daughter, Judy erf
Galveston spent the weekend with
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dippel and
Mr. and Mrs. Qscar Moellen-
berndt.
Mrs. Adela Schulze spent the
weekend in Victoria.
Visitors in the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Chas Hengst over the
weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Da-
vid Hengst and family of Eagle
Lake, and their son Charles W.
Hengst of Austin.
Johnny Lampe of San Marcos
spent the weekend with his pa-
rents Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lam-
pe.
Mrs. W.C. Redman and son Bill
visited with Mrs. L.W. Stolz.
Have Baby Boy
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Albers
became the proud parents of a
7 lb. 6 oz. boy born on January
13. He was born In the Santa
Rosa Hospital in San Antonio. He
will answer to the name of James
Herman. Proud Grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur von Mln-
den- of La Grange.
Joy Sander Honored
With Shower
Miss Joy Sander was honored
with a shower on Sunday, Janu
ary 7, at Firemen’s hall from
three to five in the afternoon.
Approximately 100 guests were
present.
Hostesses for the occasion were
Mesdames L. O. Sager, G.R. Schu-
mann, Guy Wiese, Richard Kloss,
R.W. Melcher, BobyCrowson, B.J.
Gutowsky, Richard Koltermann,
Floyd Golan, Ben Ueckert, O’Dell
WInkelmann, and Misses Shirley
Huckabee. Katie Lou Krause and
Merline Remmert.
Mrs. Gutowsky pinned white
mum corsages on the honoree,
her mother, mother erf the pros-
pective groom, Mrs. Walter Muel-
ler, and on Mrs. Erfima Engeling.
grandmother of Miss Sander, upon
their arrival. Mrs. Gutowsky also
registered the guests.
The lace laid serving table was
centered with a white gorned mi-
niature bride figure which was
flanked by gold tapers in crys-
tal holders. A white potted mum
was also used to decorate the ta-
ble.
The punch bowl was presided ov-
er by Miss Remmert. Golden
punch, cookies and tea sandwiches
were served.
After opening the many gift
Miss Sander expressed her thanks
On Saturday, January 13, in the
Green Room of Mewis Cafe, Miss
Sander was honored with a bridal
luncheon.
Hostesses were Misses Ona Lea
Schroeder, Carolyn Wiese and
Barbara Melcher of Bellville, Mrs.
Luwayne Fisher of Sealy and Miss
Emma Jean Seeker of Brenham.
Miss Sander, her mother and
mother of the prospective groom
were each presented with white
chrysanthemum corsages.
The table was graced with gold
tapers and held a centerpiece of
gold leaves.
A gift of linen was presented
by the hostesses to the bride-
elect.
Those present enjoyed a bak-
ed ham lunch.
Miss Joy Sander the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C Sander
of Bellville, is the bride-elect of
Harold Gene Mueller of La Grange.
