NINE STATES
Heavy breed poults hatched for the week end-
ing July 28, 1979, was 197,000, according to
the Texas Crop and Livestock Reporting Serv-
ice. This is 48 percent above a year ago,
but 7 percent below last week.
Eggs set for heavy breed poult production
was 264,000, up 58 percent above a year ago,
and 13 percent above last week.
So far this season, 8,651,000 poults have
been hatched, up 4 percent from the same
week last year.
