The teadher aide becomes a
personal extension of the teach-
er — a human extension &f the
teacher.
T9tp teacher aide, as opposed
to an inanimate extensinti, can
give out love, warmth and af-
fection and becomes an emo-
tional reinforcement as well as
factual reinforcement. The
youth of the aides makes them
especially adept at relating to
the young student.
