First Baptist Church Ruby Wheat
Circle Install New Officers
The Ruby Wheat WMS of the
First Baptist Church met Monday
evening. September 25 (or the
first time as a WMS instead at
a circle, with an installation ser-
vice and Royal Service program
at the home of Mr*. Harry Kind-
ley Jr.
Mrs. Gene Mktthews presented
very impressive installation
service using the theme "Jewels”
and as she designated certain
,gems for ecch office, she gave
scriptures and examples to par-
allel the job with the jewel. She
filled a treasure chest with the
ewels as she completed her ex-
hortation to the officer.-——

stalled: President, WFs L"ufher
Brashears; Vice President. Mrs
B. D. Sipe and Secretary - Tres
jrer, Miss Cathrine Cusenbary,
and the chairman of the com-
mittees: Enlistment. Mrs. Sipe

ian woman in thefirst part which
stirred deeply the women present
and Mrs Sipe closed her psft by
questioning certain facets of life
The answers came in a disclosure
by Mrs.' Carl McMillan using the
scriptures and further explana-
tions. She stated why Southern
Baptists had gone into Indonesia,
and revealed that there was now
9 churches and 15 mission points,
a hospital a Publication depart-
j ment and a Seminary located
there by the Southern Baptists.
The meeting closed with a pray-
er by Mrs Fred Thigpen. ‘
