The affair, a gift tea, had a guest

hours were from 3 to 6 p. m.

Peden, J. E. Sharpp, Basil Webb,
Roy Hodnett, R. L. Dawley, Sam
Cade, B. F. Patterson, S. F. Weir,
Bob Neal and H K. Dye.
The honoree was presented to
party-goers by her mother-in-law.
Mlrs. Guy Swain. The elder Mrs.
Swain's sister, Mrs. J. N. Cambror.
of Odessa, (Was also in the receiving
group.
Entertaining rooms were decorat-
ed with yellow Jonquils, orchid
Dutch irises and sweetpeas in tones
of orchid and pink to emphasize the
flower motif and pastel color note.
The honor guest wore pink roses
In a shoulder corsage for her aqua
crepe dress, and she also pinned
pink roses in her hair. Carnation
corsages were worn by others in
the houseparty.
Green and white were prevalent
for refreshment table decor. The
cloth was a» outwork linen. Gold
embossed lettering on the white tea

SUNDOWN REVIVAL CLONES
A week's revival meeting closed at
the Sundown Baptist church Sun-
day night. Large crowds attended
the services, for which Rev A C.
Hardin, pastor, did the preaching.
Song services were under direction
of E. Ottis Allen.
We wish to take this means to ex-
press our appreciation for the liberal
patronage and many kindesses extend-
ed to us by the residents of this com-
munity.
We feel that we have many fine
friends here and we have enjoyed hav-
ing the opportunity to serve you.
