CONVAIR, NORTHROP GET TOGETHER—Texans on duty at
Northrop Aircraft, Inc., Hawthorne, Calif., were guests at a party
sponsored by the Northrop Recreation Club recently. Guests and
hosts dined and danced at the smart Inglewood Country Club.

as contracts are formalized. One
thing is certain, if the nation is
to be properly protected by mili-
tary planes, we have every reason
to be confident that Convair will
be among the foremost of those
to whom the government will
look to build the planes.”
BOUNTIFUL BOARD—Food like this was served at Convair SD
Christmas party for Contract Spares Group, Production Control,
Ordering and Scheduling Group, Part List Release Group and
Stock No. 8 departments. Celebrants piled plates with food and
had holiday get-together.
POT-LUCK LUNCHEON—This is the lineup in Dept. 250 SD on Dec. 23 when lunch was served
to 115 persons. It was second affair of its kind since the war and a big success.
B-36 CONTEST JUDGES—This trio will judge the B-36 naming
contest. Left to right, Amon Carter, owner and publisher of the
Ft. Worth Star-Telegram; La Motte T. Cohu, Convair president
