the home of Pat Lindley in
Meyer and her officers for their
year and a half of service to the
community and to install

treasurer, and Candy Wheeler,
assistant treasurer Anita

The Alleluia! "Let’s Just
Praise the Lord,” cantata will
be held December 21 at 7p m at
the Pipe Creek Baptist Church.
Everyone is invited to attend.
There will be gifts for the
children and refreshments will

The New Year Watch Service
will begin at 8 pm on
December 31 and continue
through 12 a m. to welcome in
1976, America’s Centennial
year
Singing and two speakers will
be on hand through the Watch,
with refreshments and good

Fellowship Hall
Baptist Church Sunday af-
ternoon at 2 p.m. Refreshments
and a gift exchange for both

all. These were the classes of

who gathered at the church tor
house and ground clearing. Now
the church grounds show up to
good advantage since the
ground leveling and road
building job is completed: Also

electricians of our church, who
installed the sound system last

the nursery

Edwards Saturday afternoon.
Mrs William H. Bowie and
Royce of San Antonio spent
Sunday afternoon with Mr. and
Mrs. J. W Edwards.
Hunters have probably killed
more turkeys here this year
than for several years past, but
buck deer are scarce. Last year
many hunters got their buck.
Trappers should find plenty of
varmints this year. ‘Coon
tracks, ‘possum tracks, and
nutria raids show that coyotes
are pot our only menace.

Pipe Creek Home Demon-
stration held their Christmas
parU December 9 in the home
of Mrs. Julian L. Vasquez
There was a covered dish
dinner served by the members
with log cakes and punch and
coffee furnished by Mrs
Vasquez There was a gift ex-
change and a talk on his stay in
Mexico by Karl DeLaGuerra
with organ music for all to
enjoy, also given by Karl.
Everyone present reported
having a wonderful time.

Mr Ted Arthur Sturm, Rt. 1,
Box 15c2, Bandera, was born in
San Antonio February 13, 1917,
and entered rest Sunday,
December 14,1975, at the age of
58 years Memorial services
were held Thursday at 1:15 p.m
in the Alamo Chapels in San
Antonio.
Interment followed in Ft Sam
Houston National Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife,
Mrs Lyn Hill Sturm, Bandera;
daughter, Mrs Lynn Ray
(Penny Ann) Faseler, Hondo;
stepmother, Mrs. Sabina
Sturm, San Antonio; grandsons,
Tye Ryan and Wate Lee
Faseler, Hondo; sisters, Mrs.
Eddie (Neely) Riojas, Mrs
Floyd (Gloria) Means, San
Antonio, Mrs Dorothy Lee,
Minnesota; brothers,CharlesC.
