Oa account of unfavorable
weather the Athletics did not go
to Henrietta to play ball. On
Wednesday Marietta will be
here to play off the tie and the
game will be exceptionally well
played. Marietta made a fine
showing here and with some ex-
tra strength the team will make
the result of the game a question
until the last inning. Washing-
ton will pitch for Gainesville and
Wicker for Marietta.
Thursday, Friday and Satur-
day Henrietta will cross oats
with the Athletics.

We notice that some goom im-
provements are going on in our
city, and one is the office of Wa*

being decorated with a new coat
of paint R, E- McBee is doing
the work and using the Naples
Velvet finish for the interior
work, and Rubber Paint on the
outside, both made by the Rub-
ber Paint company, of which
Waples Painter company are the
agents. Mr. H. Muenzenberger,
of San Antonio, who is the state
agent for the piint company,
made the color scheme, and also
sainted some very attractive
signs to go out on the roads about
the city. The design is both odd
and neat, and surely w>ll be no-
ticed by all who pass it. It is
certainly up to date, and must be
seen to be appreciated, both in
design and color scheme.
Mr. Oscar Scott is completing
the repainting of his entire placd
north of town, and is using Rub-
ber paint in preference to any
other, as it stood eight years be-
fore with the sanie paint, which
shows results you get when you
use good material* and take an
interest to see it put on right.
