an average bundle of wheat. Suppose you* have 50 £
to cut and bind. How much do you need? j From
experience we would say that there would be about 23,
bundles in all, and it would take 63,250 feet of Twine
to bind it. flow many pounds of twine will it take
give 63,250 feet? It depends on the twine, rt it runs
average of 505 feet to the pound it will require about

smart dealer, in order to make you think his twine is the
cheapest, will ask you a half cent per pound for the short

This dispatch further states
that the arrival of Kosterlitsky

the Cananea Consolidated Min-

a million dollars, and work will
be resumed within a week.

PLYMOUTH TWINE
It is always even, smooth and strong and balls never fall down and tangle in
use. A prominent farmer last June counted the bundfesxjied by one ball of
Plymouth twine and found 907. He then counted bundles tied by a ball of
another kind and found 716, a difference of 191 bundles i or 16 shocks

Threatening Letters Being Sent
Missouri ex-Governor.
CURES
inted
St- Louis, June 4.—Former
Governor David K. Francis is
still getting letters from the
mysterious correspondent who
demanded $5000 at his life. Not-
withstanding the vigilance of
Chief Detectives Desmond and
his men and the postal authori
ties, two other communications
have reached/.the world's fair
president. These warned him
that he cannot escape his Neme-
sis, and that only $5000 will save
him from death.
Mr. Francis thinks he has a
clew. It is suspected that the
letter writer is a former custom-
er of the Francis brokerage firm
who lost money in speculation.
The letters declare that anoth-
er rendezvous will be arranged
to which Mr. F ancis must go
alone at night. Two whistles
will let him know the author of
the letter is in the neighborhood
and three whistles subsequently
will give him the signal to drop
the $5000 where he is and to hur-
ry from the spot-
