project start date of June 15 to
begin upgrading the water line
on FM 275. Work will start near
CR 4220 and move north to the
end of the line, paralleling the

RHS Cheer Mini
Camp June 15-17
The RHS cheerleaders will
hold their annual cheerleading
mini camp for ages 4-12 on June
15, 16, and 17 in the high school

Position and manner of displaying the flag
The flag, when carried in a procession with anofhet flag or flags

Respect for flag
The United States flag should not he disrespected or dipped to any
person or thing. Regimental colors, state (lags, and organi/atioiy or
institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor
The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the
ground, the floor, water or merchandise.
Conduct during hoisting, lowering or passing the flag
During the ceremony of hoisting or lowering the Hag or when the
flag is passed in a parade or in a review, all persons should face the
flag, stand at attention and salute. Those present in uniform should
render the military salute When not in uniform, men should remove
the headdress with the right hand holding it at the left shoulder, the
hand over the heart. Men without hats should salute in the same man-
ner. Non-Americans should stand al attention, and women should
salute by placing the right hand over the heart.
Other information
Flying the flag at half-staff is a symbol of mourning. The number
of days flown at half-staff is set by U. S. Congress.
Should the death of a serviceman or woman occur during a period
of service, a flag is provided by that branch.
The flag for the burial service of an honorably discharged veteran
is furnished by the Veteran’s Administration.
Reunions
CLASS OF 1999 — The Rains High School class of 1999 will
hold its 10-year class reunion on Saturday, June 13. A cookout from
11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. will be held at the home of Roger and
Shirley Hooten. Class members, families, teachers and school staff
are welcome. An evening event from 7:00 to 1 (>:<K) p.m. will be held
at the home of Carl and Mary Hall. Class members and guests are

CLASSES OF 1940-’50 — The annual reunion for the class-
es 1940 through 1950 will be held at Greene Valley Ranch on Sat-
urday, June 20. Every class is invited. Come about 10:00 a.m., bring
