BARS & NIGHTLIFE
Dan’s Silverleaf has an indoor and patio
bar, and a new patio stage.
Mojica just picked up the Greater Den-
ton Arts Council’s Community Arts Recog-
nition Award, a vote of confidence from the
city’s entrenched arts supporters.
Dan’s Silverleaf caters to fans of singer-
songwriter music, country, rockabilly,
Western swing and indie rock. And it’s not
just a tireless booster for music, either. The
bar has opened its doors for wall-to-wall
World Cup soccer fans, anti-fracking advo-
cates and the occasional panel discussion
for local Grammy Award winners.

meet you first thing through the door. Just
grab a cue, some chalk and rack ’em up. An-
other plus: The staff gives pool players
plenty of room. Getting goosed with a pool
cue might happen, but it’s not a foregone
conclusion.
On busy nights, you might have to wait
for a pool table, or you might make some
new friends and join a game in progress.
