An arctic cold front blew through North Texas
last Wednesday. Gusty north winds
accompanied a 20-degree drop in
temperatures, and by Thursday morning, most
of the area had dipped into the teens. That’s
the coldest weather we have experienced so
far this winter. But that shouldn’t be a
surprise. This is, after all, historically the
coldest time of the winter. From Dec. 30 to
Jan. 18, our average low is 35 degrees and
the average high is 56 degrees.
