nior pirls singles event of the
Southern US Junior Olympics
tennis matches in Houston
Tuesday afternoon.
Miss Cronenberger won over
two Houston entries in the
preliminaries and in the semi-
finals, but lost to Betty Foust
of the Bayou City in the finals,
2-6, 6-4 and 1-6.
Jo Helen, who has progress-
ed fast in tennis circles, is
listed as No. 10 in the new
National tennis handbook in
the singles division.
