SCOUTS DOCK HERE
Members of the Smithville
Ebcplorer Scout troop, rowing
kayaks which they built them-
selves, “docked” here at mid-
afternoon Monday and were
met and welcomed by Assis-
tant Scoutmaster Bobby Mey-
er and Bobby Hajovsky. After
spending the night under
Highway 71 bridge, Meyer and
Hajovsky accompanied their
Smithville friends down the
river for several miles.
BIRTHDAYS CELEBRATED
Mr. and Mrs. Robert L.
Hentschel of Rabb’s Prairie
honored their little son, Ray
Allen, on his second birthday
and their little daughter, Judy,
on her first birthday with a
delicious beef barbecue sup-
per at Sulik’s patio recently.
Over a hundred relatives and
friends attended. The evening
was enjoyed by dancing to the
music of Johnnie and his Play-
boys. Refreshments were
served. Little Ray Allen and
Judy received many nice gifts.
