Meets On May 28
The B.R.I. Veterans and
Ladies Auxiliary met in a joint
meeting Thursday night, May
28, in the social room of the
Library.
The meeting opened with
prayer by Mrs. Henry Harris.
Delicious refreshments consist-
ing of sandwiches, potato chips,
pickles, olives, pickled peaches,
cookies and punch were served.
A business meeting was held
by the president, Mrs. Ed Mil-
ler, after which a quiz contest
was held by the program chair-
trran, Mrs. Ruth Mayberry, and
enjoyed by all- Entertainment
consisted of games of canasta
and forty-two.
The next meeting will be in
September.
