63-year-old Olney
man dies while
fishing on Brazos
Charles Odie Sites, 63, re-
tired lumber dealer, died
Wednesday of last week of a
heart attack while he was
fishing in the Braaos river,
west of Newcastle. The body
was found north ofthebridge.
His body was found about
8 p. m. after a Ive hour
search in which Olney and
Graham city and county of-
ficers, iremen from Olney,
Graham and Newcastle and
other searchers participated.
A coroners verdict of death
from heart attack was return-
ed by Justice of Peace Sam
Furr Jr.
Sites had been an ardent
fisherman since heart trouble
forced him to retire from
work several years ago.
He was born in Wise coun-
ty on Feb. 8, 1900, In 1922
at Weatherford, he married
Elsie Lee Dodson.
Services were held at 2 p.
m. Friday from the First
Baptist Church in Olney.
Burial was in the Olney Cem-
etery under direction of Lunn
Funeral Home.
His widow, a son and dau-
ghter survive, Bill Sites of
Lockhart, and Mrs. Cecil
Bown of Fort Worth
Two brothers, Carl Sites
of Olney and Authur Sites of
Weatherford; three sisters,
Mrs J. A. Dodson of Olney,
Mrs. Mabel Pewitt of Fort
Worth and Mrs. Hood Nich-
olson of Weatherford; and
one grandchild.

to be Wichita Falls

play in Wichita Falls Thurs-
day night, Jan. 23, 1964 at
Municipal Auditorium. The
show will be sponsored by
the Wichita Falls Optimist

the Boys Clubs of Wichita
Falls, a United Fund Agency.
