Cox 18 Reported
Recovering From
Recent Illness
San Francisco Chronicle; With
a quarter of a million in the bank,
you’d think the Dionnes would hire
doubles for the big spinach-eating
scene.
Stephenville friends of the R. E.
Cox family will be interested in
news received here this week that
Earl Cox, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.
E. Cox of Fort Worth, was gradu-
ally improving from an attack of
influenza-pneumonia, with which
he was stricken two weeks ago
while on a business trip to Mis-
souri and other northwestern sta-
tes with the Fort* Worth Fat Stock
Sb<>w and Centennial boosters.
He was first stricken with an at-
tack of influenza which later de-
veloped into pneumonia, complicat-
ed by streptococci,~ a very serious
throat malady. His condition was
regarded quite critical for several
days, but specialists in charge of
his case now state that'he has pas-
sed the crisis and will within a
short time, fully ..overcome the ef-
fects of his illness.
