ATTENTION RANCHMEN
In case ytm did not see the account
of the R.E.A. meeting in the Mohair
Weekly two weeks ago, we are review-
ing the facts concerning this matter.
Mr. Kink, the manager of the Kim-
ble Electric Coop came over to give
ns the facts and latest information,
and according to Mr. Kirk the R.E.A.
has guaranteed to build the lines in
this county and adjacent territory and
serve the people provided we guar-
antee $7.50 per mile a month for one
year after you sitart using the current.
The R.E.A. engineers have estimated
that we will have an average of two
miles of line per ranch which will
mean a minimum payment of $15 per
month per unit' for the - first year,
after which time it will drop to $3.50
for 40 kilowatt hours.
We have a limited '.time on this pro-
position in order to get in on the pre-
sent appropriation of $100^000,000.
If we fail to meet this time limit we
will probably have to wait six months
before we get another appropriation
from Washington.
We are asking everyone who is in-
terested and all the present members,
who haven’t done so, to come to the
county agents office within the next
few days and sign up for this new
arrangement.
