A living room decorated with
tall white baskets of gladiolus
and pom poms was the setting
at 10 a.m. Saturday for the
wedding of Nancy Irene Davis
and Weldon E. Fletcher.
W. E. Brown, minister of Vic-
toria Central Church of Christ
and brother-in-law of the bride-
groom. read the double vows.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs- Clarence W. Dav-
is. 1211 Ave. A. and Fletcher’s
parents are Mr. and Mrs. J.F.
Fletcher of Levelland
Presented in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a white
lace-over-satin suit fashioned
and made by her mother. It
featured a picture portrait
neckline, box jacket with three-
quarter sleeves and a straight
skirt.
Hie ensemble was comple-
mented by lace mitts, and a
small while lace pillbox hat
with an attached veil of illus-
ion. Her only jewelry was a
diamond pendant, a wedding
present from the bridegroom.
She carried white roses atop

The bride’s mother was at-
tired in a peacock dress of blue
with black patent accessories.
Her corsage was white roses,
lace dress with beige acces-
sories. Her corsage was also
of white roses.
The table for the reception
was decorated with an array of I
white roses and English ivv. ]
Wedding cake, coffee and punch
were served
In the house party were Mrs
Rodney Rodgers of Portales,
N.M.; Mrs. D^i Staford, Little-
field; Mrs. James D. Yeary.

an emerald green silk and ray-
on suit, wldi black patent ac-
