A1 Yardleys
Celebrate 50th
Anniversary
-i*
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hall, who
had made their home in Andrews
for 15 yean, have moved to what
is known as the Stubblefield place
in Morgan Mill. Mr. and Mrs. Hall
are retired after having been em-
ployed for the past 16 years with
<4he Phillips Petroleum Company.
One of the happy occasions of
last weekend was the 60th wed-
ding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs.
A1 Yard ley, long time citizens of
Erath Connty.
Along with the joy of having
their two daughters with them for
the occasions, Mr. and Mrs. Yard-
ley also entertained a Urge num-
ber of neighbors and friends. Mrs.
J. D. Gauntt and family of Corpus
Mr* I Christi and Mrs. L. E. Turnbow
' (and family of Wichita Falls were
here with their parents.
Due to the poor health of Mr.
Yardley the celebration was con-
fined to a quiet and simple pro-
gram. Mr. Yardley suffered a
heart attack two years ago and
although lie is considerably better
he does not believe it wise to over-
tax his strength.
Before; moving to Stephenville a
few years ajrft the Yardleys lived
at their ranch home west of Lln-
jfleville. They enjoy a wide ac-
quaintance throughout the Ste-
phenville territory. They have been
warmly congratulated on their an-
niversary. They also received
many beautiful gifts.
