funeral of Mr. John White Satur-
day. Mr. White was in business
here for many years and had a host
of friends.
Mrs. Jack Martin and Mrs. Ethel
Barton of Thorp Springs visited
in the home of Mrs. Belva 'Evans
Monday.
Mrs. John Adams has been real
sick in the Dublin hospital. It is
leported that she is improving.
Mrs. Gertie Earp was taken With
an acute virus attack Friday night
and was hospitalised Sunday.
W. A. Huckabee's burned foot is
better and he has gone to visit
with his dsughter, Claudia, who
lives in Gilmer, Tex.
There was a good attendance at
the Baptist Church Sunday, and!
all were glad to have their pastor
and Wife back home. They had
been gone a week attending Mrs.
Spiegel’s father’s funeral in Ohio.
