BOY SCOUTS TAKE HIKE
AND EN1UOY OUTING
Stephenville Boy Scouts, Troup 1.
took their first hike last Friday and
Saturday. Only six of the Scouts ac-
companied by the Master and the As-
sistant Scout Master were all that
made the hike, yet they report a most
enjoyable time of it. To pass a part
o ftheir examination in the second
class, the scout* made several spread
efforts. All were able to build a fire
with the material at hand with their
quota of two matches. Perhaps the
greatest event of the trip was the
“treasure hunt.” The greater part of
Saturday was spent in trying to locate
the stob, 30 paces due east of a cer-
tain cedar tree.
There are only twelve scouts in the
troop, but it is hoped that the full
quota will be reached before the next
hike. Officers of the organization
ore: Scoutmaster, J. U. McAfee; As-
sociate Scoutmaster Keith Wallace:
Counselman: R. C. Black, J. A. Mc-
Mahan, E. A. Funkhouser and Connor

Gained
Ten Pounds
Mrs. George S. Hunter, of
Columbus, Ga., says she suf-
fered severely with female
• troubles.
”1 had to go to bed and
stay sometimes two weeks at
a time,” says Mrs. Hunter.
“I could not work. My . . .
were irregular and I got very
thin. I went from 126 pounds
down to less than 100. My
mother had been a user of
CAKDIII
The Woman's Tonic
and she knew what a good
medicine it was for this troub-
le, so she told me to get
some and take it. 1 sent to
the store after It and before
I had taken the first bottle
up 1 began to improve. My
side hurt less, and I began to
mend in health. I took four
bottles in all during the last
ten months. CarduT acted as
a fine tonic... I am well now.
I have gained ten pounds and
am still gaining. My sides
do not trouble me at all and
my . . . are quite regular. I
know that Cardul will help
others suffering from the
same trouble.”
Take Canlui.
