4-vehicle crash briefly shuts down I-35E
By Julian Gill
Staff Writer
jgill @ dentonrc.com
No one was injured Thurs-
day after a four-car pileup at the
U.S. Highway 380 exit on Inter-
state 35, briefly shutting down
the northbound lanes of the in-
terstate.
Denton police spokesman
Blotter
Bryan Cose said the exit ramp
was backed up with traflic when
a Ford F-250 pickup with a trail-
er rear-ended a vehicle about
noon. The collision caused a
domino effect involving two
more cars, Cose said.
Three of the eight occupants
in the vehicles were transported
to Texas Health Presbyterian
Hospital Denton and Medical
City Denton. The 41-year-old
man driving the pickup was not
injured, he said.
Traffic investigators did not
list intoxication or distracted
driving as a factor in the crash
report, he said. The northbound
lanes were closed in the area for
about an hour.
“Nope, here in Texas they
only care about your unborn
babies.
