the O. E. S. held their annual
Christmas party Tuesday even-
ing at the Beckham Hotel.
A turkey dinner was enjoyed

Rogers, Etna Rape, Ruth Caud-
ill, Minnie Lee Hemphill, Lola
Mae Cowart, Lois Parrish, Laura
Speights, Willie White, Mary
Hannon of Hawkins, Pearl
Shipp, Hilda Graham, Jessie
Covin and Glenda Rule.
Election of officers was held........._
The highlight of the evening Christmas tree.

The Wensome Sunday School
class of the Hainesville Baptist
Church met on Wednesday aft-
ernoon, December 7, at two
o’clock in the home of Mrs. Joe
Moseley for their monthly busi-
ness and social meeting.
The meeting was presided
over by class president, Mrs. J.
J. Puckett. Mrs. Gladys Wilson
led the group in singing ‘“Silent
Night’’ followed by a prayer by j
Mrs. Joe Moseley. The devo-
tional was given by Mrs. Jay-
Tucker.
Gifts were exchanged bv those
present.
