C.A.S.I. Chill Cook-ofT January
9th.
The cook-off was well at-
tended. there was 41 cooks from
all over Texas. Doug Seelig took
first In chill and Hot Rod Chill
from Converse took first place
in Showmanship. Profits went
to the scholarship fund.
The auxiliary would like to
thank the local merchants that
donated to the cook-off.
Thanks to the auxiliary mem-
bers for the cook s party and a
special thanks to Mary Isen-
berger and Mary Margaret Heis-
tand for all the long hours of
help and to the final Judges.

Llano High School
Computer Department
The Llano High School Computer Department will be
offering a computer class In "Presentation Graphics and
Desktop Publishing" starting Monday, January 11th.
This class will meet one night per week, on Monday from
6 to 9 p.m. for eight weeks through February 23rd.
"Presentation Graphics and Desktop Publishing" is a
course which will teach the fundamentals of desktop
publishing with the IBM compatible computer and la
designed for those with some experience with Microsoft
Windows. Programs to be used include a graphics presen-
tation package called "Arts ft Letters" and a desktop
publishing program called "Aldus Pagemaker."
Following this class, a class in "Spreadsheet Software"
will be offered beginning the second week in March.
The cost of the currently offered class la $45. To register
