NEW CHRISTMAS POLE DECORATIONS: The Comanche Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture
Board of Directors voted to sponsor a community-wide campaign to purchase new Christmas pole
decorations. These will replace old decorations used around the square as well as up and down Central
Avenue. The cost of the new decorations will be about $3,000 ($200 each). Donations will be accepted
and appreciated in any amount, however, some businesses and individuals may wish to purchase one or
more of the decorations. Checks should be made to the Comanche Chamber of Commerce and brought
or mailed to P.O. Box 65, Comanche, TX 76442. Many people have made comments regarding the need
for new Christmas decorations and with everyone’s help we can celebrate Christmas 2000 with beautiful
new decorations. For more information, call the Chamber office at 356-3233.
