It’s beginning to look like
Christmas around Comanche
with some neighborhoods more
decorated than others.
The newly organized Hill
Haven Neighborhood
Association has done wha; the
rest of us in town should do The
neighbors got together and
decided to beautify and decorate
their street and entrance. You
must driv e'by at night and see
what pannering together can
accomplish' Thank you to all of
you up on the Hill!
Again this year, the house on
the comer of Neely and N Page
is a sight to behold' Hundreds of
lights displaced beautifully'

But sometimes, the simplest
outside lighting display can also
be beautiful - one evergreen
cov ered in multi-colored lights or
a lighted star atop a house.
And some displays, this year,
have even taken on a political
theme. L an't imagine w h>!?
So. if you need to get into the

Nothing gives us all a lift like
seeing a business or homeowner
improving the appearance of
their place It will make you
really proud to see our
Comanche Hospital after the
completion of the handsome new
rock sign with the royal blue
letters and the w hite paint job on
the entire building with matching
royal blue trim. Thank you to all
of you at the Hospital, the
Auxiliary and those who
contributed to the purchase of the
paint.
CORRECTION: In one of my
Historical Walk stories. I

it is to see their eyes light up at
the thought of going shopping for
their loved ones
We who work and volunteer at

We think we speak for most of
Comanche Indian Football fans,
w hen we say. how very proud of
the Indians we are! These boys
played with such dedication and
each and every one of them gave
110% to the game and to their
fans Our coaching staff did a
GREAT job'
Regrettably. there seems to be a
selected few fans that do not share
this view These fans openly
voiced their criticism toward the
coaching staff and the placement
of a play er
We would like to remind these
Indian fans that such criticism can
be very hurtful to a player and the
team as a whole
Let us please try to practice
good sportsmanship and set a
good example for our children to
follow
As the old say ing goes. "If y ou
don't have anything good to say .
(about the athletes). Don't say
anything at all "
