Gayle Victor Isham, 91, of
Gustine, Texas, passed away
Saturday, November 22, 2008
at Hamilton Hospital in Ham-
ilton, Texas.
Mr. Isham was born Feb-
ruary 28, 1917 in Gustine,
the son of Sterling J. and Ada
Maude Tremble Isham.
He was a self-employed
dairyman and carpenter. He
was a member of the First
Baptist Church, Gustine.
He married Cloda Cara-
way April 4, 1936 in Energy,
Texas.
Mr. Isham is survived by
one daughter, Virginia Harris
and husband Jay Lee Harris,
Energy, Texas; one son, Vic-
tor Isham and wife Kay, Co-
manche, Texas; three grand-
sons, Clifford Harris, Kenton
Isham, Jackie Isham; and two
great-grandchildren. Colt and
Laci.
He was preceded in death
by his wife, Cloda Caraway
Isham on March 6, 2006.
Funeral services were held
at graveside at the Energy
Cemetery, Comanche County,
Texas, November 23, 2008
with Rev. Ronnie Calcote of-
ficiating.

Horace Davis, 68, of Red
Oak, Texas, died Friday, No-
vember 21, 2008 at his resi-
dence in Red Oak.
Funeral services will be at
2:00 p.m., Sunday, November
30 at Broken Bronc C owboy
Church with Pastor Bobby
Davis officiating and Rev.
Jackie Auvenshine assisting.
Burial will be in Taylor’s Cha-
pel Cemetery in Comanche
County, Texas with C oman-
che Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.
He was bom on February
1, 1940 in Comanche County,
Texas to Eugene Davis and
Odessa (Helm) Davis. They
preceded him in death.
Horace loved his family.
He enjoyed deep sea fishing
and a member of The Cruis-

Peggy Davis of Comanche;
sister and brother-in-law,
Rojean and Glenn Lewis of
Garland; two nephews; and
three nieces.

at Comanche Funeral Home
on Saturday from 6:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. l unch for
the family will be at Taylor’s
Chapel Church at 12:00 noon
on Sunday.

Rochelle Elliott, age 80
years, 6 months and 12 days,
of Comanche, Texas, died
on Thursday. November 20,
2008 at Western Hills Health-
care Residence in Comanche,
Texas.
He was born on May 8,
1928 in Comanche County to
Bill Elliott and Beulah (Jones)
Elliott. Mr. Elliott served in
the Army. Rochelle was a bus
driver for Comanche I SI). for
many years.
Mr. Elliott was united in
jnarriage to Dorothy Cotnev
on July 14, 1949 in Coman-
che, Texas.
He is survived by wife.
Dorothy Elliott of Coman-
che; daughter and son in-law,
Melinda and Chris Bloyd of
Comanche; daughter and son-
in-law, Billie Jo and Thomas
Medina of Comanche; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Jana and
Rob Duncan of Comanche; 9
grandchildren, Angelyn, Sa-
mantha, Fawn, James, Crystal,
Levi, Elliott, Jenna, and Lau-
ren; 6 great- grandchildren;
and brother, Donald Elliott of
Comanche. He was preceded
in death by his parents, and
son-in-law, John Phillips.
Funeral Services were
held at 2:30 p.m., on Sunday,
November 23, 2008 at the Co-
manche Funeral Home Cha-
pel with Rev. Dan Connally
officiating. Burial followed in
the Board Church Cemetery
in Comanche County, Tex-

ments.
DUTTON
Patty Jo Dutton, age 79. of
Comanche died on Tuesday
night, November 18, 2008 at
her home following a short
illness.
Granger, lexas on September
3, 1970. He preceded her in
death in 2000. She was an ac-
tive member of the Eastside
Baptist Church, several local
bridge clubs, and the Food
Pantry. She also did other vol-
unteer serv ices in the Coman-
che area.
She w as raised in the Co-
manche area and later moved
to Brownwood where she
w orked as a bookkeeper at the
Brownwood Regional Medi-
cal Center for several years.
They later moved back to Co-
manche where she has lived
for the past sev eral years.
She is surv ived by her
daughter, Sandy Stew ard and
husband Gail of Comanche;
her son. Joey Williams of Co-
manche. 3 sisters. Nada Reid
and husband Jerry of Wash-
ington. LaDale Trimble and
husband Rav of Georgia, and
Linda lownson and husband
Kenny of California; a son-
in-law. Jerry Lee Williams
of Comanche; a step-son,
ferry Dutton of Arlington; 9
grandchildren; and 18 great-
grandchildren also. She was
preceded in death by her par-
ents; husbands; and daugh-
ter. Dianna Williams; and a

ett and Alma Coleman. She
married Donald Huffmaster
in Muskogee, Oklahoma on
November 28, 1952. She had
been a resident of Gustine for
the past 17 years moving here
from Irving where they bad
lived for several years. She
was a homemaker and a Bap-
tist.
She loved her grandchil-
dren and doing things with
them, as well as all kinds of
animals. She especially loved
to sit outside and watch her
goats that she had named after
special friends.
She is survived by her
husband. Donald Hufl’mas-
ter of Gustine; a son, Terry
Huffmaster and wife Lynell
of Coppell. Texas; a daugh-
ter, Cathy Perschbacher and
husband Donald of Coppell,
Texas; 3 grandsons, Travis
Huffmaster, and Austin and
Hayden Perschbacher; and
2 brothers. Leon Coleman
and Steve Coleman both of
Muskogee, Oklahoma. She
was preceded in death by her
parents.
