JACINTO
(Continued from page I A)
lived in Comanche for six years
having moved here from
Marfa, Texas. I am employed
by the United States Depart-
ment of Agriculture Farm Ser-
vice Agency (FSA). I have
been employed by FSA for 19
years. 1 was raised in Italy,
Texas where my parents and
my oldest son, Brandon reside.
Along with Brandon, I have
a very special lady in my life.
Misty Donnelly. She has a son
named Payton who is a first
grader in at Comanche El-
ementary School. We also
have Cutter who is my newest
addition, he is six months old.
I served on the Italy City
Council before having to resign
because I had to relocate to
Marfa for my job with FSA. I
had previously worked for FSA
in Waxahachie, Texas while I
lived in Italy. I also served on
the City Commission in Marfa
being asked to fill an unexpired
term. I then ran in the next
election and won the place on
the Commission. It was dur-
ing that term that the City of
Marfa amended its charter to
become governed by a council
of five rather than a commis-
sion of three. I left Marfa
when FSA downsized and
eliminated the manager’s posi-
tion in the Marfa FSA Office.
I then applied for the manager’s
job here in Comanche.
I am currently a Captain on
the Comanche Volunteer Fire
Department having been a
member for six years. I have
19 years of service as a volun-
teer firefighter serving in Italy,
Texas and Marfa, Texas.
While in Marfa, I received my
EMT-Basic certification. 1
was a volunteer for Marfa
EMS for almost two years. I
have been employed with Co-
manche EMS since November
2001 working part time. I am
serving on the Cross Timbers
Health Center Board of Direc-
tors where I have been elected
president for 2006. I am also
active with various teams with
the Comanche Youth Council
sports league.
I take the position on City
Council very seriously, and I
hope to serve there with good
fiscal management, respect for
the citizens of Comanche, a
genuine concern for the City,
and above all integrity.
I know that many people in
the City may not know me per-
sonally, but I hope through this
brief biography, that it conveys
my involvement in the towns
where I have lived. I do not
believe that acting alone I will
make a difference, but work-
ing with the Citizens, City Hall,
the other Council Members,
and City Employees, we can all
benefit Comanche.
PLUMLEE
(Continued from page I A)
Plumlee states.
Plumlee, whose term as
Justice Court Judge expires in
December of 2006, states, “I
have been around and
involved in education for a
good many years. I will work
hard for the teachers of this
district and I will do my best
to insure that our students get
the best education they can in
the best facilities that we can
afford and provide. I am not
afraid to tackle issues that face
this community nor am I
hesitant to run for any office
that I think can help find
solutions to problems and
make this a better place to live
and raise our kids.”
