BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
The county of Comanche is giving notice of the
county's intent to submit 2 Texas Community De-
velopment Block Grant Program grant applica-
tions in the amount of $350,000.00 each, to rebuild
County Roads, due to the flooding of August, 2008.
The application is available for review at the Coun-
ty Courthouse during regular business hours and
will be submitted to the Office of Rural Commu-
nity Affairs on December 12, 2008.

In compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Re-
sponsibility Act of 1998 (QHWRA), the Comanche Hous-
ing Authority has prepared a 5 year plan and an annual
plan. A copy of these plans and related documents are
available for inspection at the Housing Authority Office at
404 East Cedar Street during normal business hours from
November 5,2008 through December 22,2008.
The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority
will hold a public hearing on the plans on Wednesday,
January 14, 2009 in the Community Room of the Hous-
ing Authority at 404 East Cedar Street Comanche, Texas
beginning at 9:00am. Any interested person is welcome to
attend and participate on the hearing.
