Indians
The CHS Varsity Indians
split four games last week.
They dropped one contest at
Eastland and then finished in
third place in the Dublin Dr.
Pepper Classic Tournament
Coach Walker Nichols
said the Indians probably
played their best game of the
season against Tolar on Sat-
urday. ‘‘We are improving
and are starting to shoot bet-
ter." He added that he feels
the team is about where they
need to be with district be-
ginning in two weeks.
Fall to Eastland
I he Indians dropped a
64-36 decision at Eastland
last Tuesday to the unbeaten
Mavericks.
Weaver and Duncan led
the Indian scorers with 10
points each.
The Indians were 15 of
36 from the field for 42%,
but were only 5 of 14 on free
throws for 36%. Comanche
had 22 turnovers in the con-
test. Weaver had X rebounds
and Duncan had 7. Roberts
had four assists.

In the Dublin Tournament
opener the Indians fell to
McGregor 45-43. The Indians
trailed throughout the contest,
but closed the gap with a 20-
13 fourth quarter run.
Feaster paced the Indians
scorers with 14 points.
Comanche was 19 of 47

only shot three free throws,
making 2 of 3. Feaster had 8
rebounds, Roberts had 3 as-
sists, and Biggs had 3 steals.

ens let slide away. ‘‘We did
not shoot or execute in the
fourth quarter. We showed
our youth.”
The Maidens led 20-
lb after three quarters, but
were outscored 14 to 5 in the
fourth quarter

in the contest, with Eastland

Thursday at 3:30 p.m. versus
Seminole.
Other teams in the tourna-
ment include Wall, Brown-
wood, Ballinger, SA Lakev-
iew, Big Springs, and Clyde.

7th MAIDENS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP: The Comanche
7th Grade Maidens placed 1st in the Glen Rose Tournament
held on Saturday, December 6. The girls beat out Dublin 40-
15, which placed them in the championship with Glen Rose.
They beat Glen Rose 31-18 to bring home a first place tro-

This past Saturday, De-
cember 6th, the Comanche
Junior High girls basketball
teams traveled to Glen Rose
to compete in the Glen Rose
tournament.
The Maiden 7th A team
won the tournament, and the
8th A and 7th & 8th B com-
bined teams also finished
as runners-up in their divi-
sions.
