This is a clear message
to Texas veterans. The
sacrifices made by veter-
ans and their families are
deeply appreciated in San
Patricio County. Local
veterans are only a phone
call away from finding
someone to answer ques-
tions or be an advocate to
secure benefits earned in
exchange for service in
the armed forces. A sim-
ple call to 361-364-9356
is all it takes.
The San Patricio
County Veterans Service
phone is answered by
Delia Aleman. She will
do the initial interview.
If the need is something
like a copy of a DD214,

Halloween fun
Faulk Early Childhood students walk through Commercial Motors in Aransas Pass dressed in their costumes
on the morning of Halloween. Local businesses around town handed out candy to the students, and employ-
ees even had a little fun themselves dressing up in costumes.

The Floodplain Man-
agement Plan Workshop
held in Aransas Pass was
apparently of interest to
some of the City of Aran-
sas Pass staff and City
Council members, but
few other residents were
in attendance. Maybe res-
idents were not aware of
the workshop or maybe
they did not realize how
it could affect their pock-
etbook.
