homeowners to repair or
replace damaged or destroyed
real estate. Homeowners and
renters are eligible for up to
$40,000 to repair or replace
damaged or destroyed per-
sonal property.

Civic Center from June 20
through June 30, is now
closed. Representatives made
contact with a total of 151 San
Patricio County residents.
Representatives provided
information to 50 residents,
introduced 40 Home Loan
Applications and submitted
42. Ten of these have received
Loan Applications introduced
and ten were submitted. None
of these have received
approval at the present time.
Although the Outreach
Center is now closed, it is still
possible to apply for assis-
tance. Applicants may apply
online using the Electronic
Loan Application (ELA) via
SBA’s secure website at

Spanish Club Network, Inc., a
501c3 non-profit award win-
ning coastal environmental
education organization estab-
lished in 2000, we request a
sponsorship of 60 meals for a
special public meeting on
Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the
Ingleside VFW Post 6836. The
purpose of the luncheon meet-
ing is to commence needed col-
laborative public gathering to
discuss the importance of an
ecosystem based approach to
drainage in the southern end of
Live Oak Peninsula, which in
essence, are the unincorpo-
rated communities south of
State Highway 188 to the
OxyChem end of FM 1069.
It is not business as usual
with involvement of Citizen

The Tri-City Soccer
League will have fall registra-
tion on July 23 and July 30
from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and
Aug. 20 and Aug. 27 from 10
a.m. - 2 p.m. The registration
will be held at the Ingleside
Public Library, 2775 Waco.

certificate at the time of reg-
istration for first time players,
and player must have turned
four years of age by July 31,
2016 to be eligible to play in
the fall season. The registra-

sun’s harmful UV rays.
The United States Food
and Drug Administration
(FDA) recommends gen-
erously applying broad-
spectrum sunscreen to
cover all exposed skin,
which will help protect
against both ultraviolet A
(UVA) and ultraviolet B
(UVB) rays. The FDA also
recommends using a sun-
screen with a sun protec-
tion factor (SPF) at a
value of at least 15.
Sunscreen should be gen-
erously applied through-
out the day, especially
after swimming and
sweating.
This summer, I hope

promoting UV safety by
following the recommen-
dations outlined above. To

sure to UV radiation,
