Once the division was gone,
the Army said, Belton' ended his

The courtmartial was moved
here at the request of Belton’s
civilian lawyer, George Altman
of Beverly Hills. Calif. - Altman
said he took the case after be-
ing contacted “by certain pari
ties interested in Belton's civil
liberties.” .
A 1962 graduate of Arizona
State University, Belton was
drafted into the Army in May
to 1964 and trained at a com-
munications specialist.
