in assists and played exceptional
defense all year long
Team members included senior
Andre Upshaw; juniors Andre
Hayes, Michael Jenkins and Jason
Hopper; sophomore Kevin Hartless
and freshman Leslie Warren.
Hopper improved more this year
than any young man I’ve seen in my
coaching career.
The Pirates can look forward to a
bright future with the fine players
that will return next year, along with
a fine group that will be moving up
from junior high.
