The publication of a yearbook
requires long hours of hard work
and thought, so everybody get
behind Billy Baxter, who is edi-
tor, and Bill Jordan, manager,
and help them in every way pos-
sible.
The student council Is sponsor-
ing again this year the “Student
of the Week”, I’m sure it’s a goal
we can all strive for and be proud
to hold.
Short yells, familiar “ahs” and
“Oh, how pretty!” were heard
frequently last Monday in the
hall surrounding the office as
the Seniors received their ’57
rings. They’re long awaited and
it’s really wonderful to have them,
isn’t it seniors?
The Kangaroos will be playing
a game away from home tomor-
row night for the first time this
season. They really need our sup-
port so here’s hoping we see every
W.H.S. student present to see the
Kangaroos really “Pluck Those
Parrots”.
The Future Homemaker’s will
be making their annual bus trip to
the Texas State Fair in Dallas,
Texas, Saturday, October 6. Bus-
