AMENDED NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Commissioners Court of Comanche County, Texas, will be accepting bids until 5:00
p.m., 11 th of October, 2005, on the supply and delivery of the following products effective
from October 12, 2005 through September 30,2006:
GASOLINE-------Regular un-leaded-87 & 89 octane or better
DIESEL---------Clear low sulfur No. 2
Dyed #2
A separate bid should be made for each Precinct and the Sheriff Dept, and Jail. A firm may
bid for only 1 Precinct or for the Sheriffs Dept, and Jail or for all, but a separate bid must
be made for each of Precinct #1, Precinct #2, Precinct #3, Precinct #4 and the Sheriffs
Dept, and Jail, so 5 bids are possible.
A firm fixed price for fuels shall be determined weekly by applying the bidder’s
differentials to the average gallon prices listed in the “Oil Price Information Service” (OPIS)
PAD 3 Report for Austin, Texas, using the most recently issued report. Bidder must supply
the County of Comanche with 2 copies of Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) applicable
index. A firm issuing a bid does not have to be a current subscriber to the “OPIS” (Oil Price
Information Service) at the time of bid; however, the firm having the successful bid will be
required to subscribe in order to effect proper billing.
Each invoice shall reference the date of each applicable OPIS and published index average.
All submitted prices shall include delivery to various County locations.
Bids will be opened at Regular Meeting of Commissioners’ Court at 9:00 a.m. on October
12,2005.
Comanche County reserves the right to reject any and all bids at buyers option and to waive
any and all formalities.
Bids not filed by 5:00 p.m. on October! 1,2005, will not be considered. Bids should be filed
with the County Judge’s office in the Courthouse of Comanche, Texas. Please write “Fuel
Bid” on the front of the envelope.
