Houston State College.
G. B. Hendon, Jr. has pur-
chased the Humble Service Sta-
tion located at 621 Main Street,
from Homer Crawford.

Mrs. Homer Barger recently

in Freeport Memorial Hospital
and is doing nicely.
Out of town guests in the Mil-
lard Terry home last weekend

business and visiting relatives

visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Paul Gauntt, Dianne and Mar-
tha.
Glenda Ruth Bottoms, Galena
Park, visited Mr. and Mrs. B. H
Tyus over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gibbs and
family of Franklin, La., visited
Mrs. Vestie Foster, J. D. Gibbs
and the J. W. Whitleys over the
weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Sowers
and sons of Dallas, visited Mr.
and Mrs. Aaron Sowers during
the weekend.
Joe Day Whitaker, who is at-
tending school at A&M Univer-
sity, spent the weekend with
homefolks.

Norris Hall of Galveston vis-
ited his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lewis Hall over the week-
end,
Mr. and Mrs. Grady Hester and
son, William, spent the weekend
in Dallas with friends and rela-
tives.
Tom S. Clark visited his
mother, Mrs. Clair Clark, here
this week. Tom is teaching
school at Mercedes, Texas.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Donald
R. Martin, Teague, a 7 pound 14
ounce boy, Donny Ray, Septem-
ber 30th, at the City Hospital.
A girl, Sherry Lynn, was born
to Mr. and Mrs. Billy Brim, Free-
port, September 28 at Freeport
Hospital. Mrs. Brim is the for-
mer Miss Barbara Jean Freden-
rich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Homer Fredenrich, formerly of
Teague.
Mr. and Mrs. James A. Taylor
are the parents of a girl born
October 2 at City Hospital. She
weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and
has been named Suzanne.
Sharan Sue was bom to Mr.
and Mrs. J. A. Fulcher on Octo-
ber 4 at the City Hospital, weigh-
ing 8 lbs. 14 ozs.
Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Wilson an-
nounce the arrival of James Lee,
born October 4 at the City Hos-
pital, weighing 8 pounds 11
ounces.
Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Thompson
are the parents of a girl born
October 3 at the City Hospital.
She has been named Rebecca
Louise and weighed 7 lbs. 10
ozs.
Mr. and Mrs. John L. John-
son were in Waco on business
Monday.
