EMPLOYEES RECEIVE
TOASTMASTERS HONORS
David 3. Brown, a Product Planner in the
Marketing Department, received special
recognition as Lt. Governor of the Year at
the recent District 25 Spring Conference
of Toastmasters International. Brown ser-
ves as Lt. Governor for District 25's
Western Division, one of four it contains.
District 25 includes Toastmasters chapters
throughout North Texas.
Brown is one of several employees who
have been instrumental in the growth of
Toastmasters at GD/FW. Five clubs now
meet either in-plant or offsite to accom-
modate the various schedules of the more
than 100 employees who are members.
Brown said the growth of Toastmasters
"reflects employees' increased awareness
of their need to develop effective com-
munications skills."
Another GD/FW employee, Bill Bellamy of
the EW Simulation group in Engineering,
was recognized at the conference for out-
standing service as an officer of one of the
General Dynamics Toastmasters clubs.
