Washington Nov. G. Bills have

foro the committee the bill intro-
duced by delegate Flyun for the
admission of Oklahoma It is
expected there will bo something of
a contest over this proposition.
Thero are two factions in the Indian
Territory which are interested in
the admission. One wants the
Indian Territory admitted as a
portion of the otato of Oklahoma
and another wants tho section now
known as tho Indian Ter-
ritory to remain in its pres-
ent condition. Delegato Fiyun
says it is no pa-ticular momrnt to
him. If tho people of ih Indian
Territory do not want 'o cjiup into
the Union with Oklaho".i then ho
wants Oklahoma admitted as a
separate htate. Before leaving for
home ho said ho would press his
bill as soon as congrcs reassembled
Ho thinks it would bo a great in-
justice to the people of Oklahoma
to deny them admission when the
territory has tho rcjniaito popula
tion and resources to entitle it to
statehood.
