Court Exercises
Slated Thursday
Boy Scoots of McAllen will be hon-
ored at special exercises scheduled to
be held in tbe City Bark here tonight
when all four troops of the city will
gather In full uniform for brief court
of honor exercisee that are to be con-'
ducted for those achouts who have com-
pleted merited work during the ipast
few months and for others .who fin-
ished such endeavor flt the Valley
Scout ciwiip at RTo Hondo recently. “
All scouts attending the exercises
will be guests at a feast that is to be
arranged bx the American Legion post
here.
The ceremonies will be preceded by
a pamde up South Main street through
the business district of the city. All
four troops wtill gather at the muni-
cipal band hall and will then march
south to Chicago avenue,-turning.

Aerocade Visit
Slated Sunday
Despite heavy rainfall -will, h bids

tion with the visit of the Fort Worth,
aerocade. scheduled here next Sunday,
officials in charge of arrangements for
the large group of planes, pilots, and
business men of the North Texas city I
were forwarding their labors today.

Slated for Course
Weekly .tournament of Tepehuaje

day by Jack Wolfe, local pro, who
stated that officials of the club are
considering ptpns to stage a best
ball contest next Sabbath.
The usual nominal entrance fee will
be charged, he said, and funds deriv-
ed 'from this will be used to purchase
prizes that are to be awarded. A large
number of entrants is expected. Each
Player must ptay two rounds of the
course, turning in an 18-hole score
during the day.
