A moist, fluffy baked potato
need not always be served as an
accompaniment. It can stand on
its own as a main dish too,
espec
light, but satisfying savory mix-
ture of colorful canned salmon
and assorted vegetables.
-The filling takes just a few
minutes to prepare, thanks to
the convenience of canned
salmon from Alaska. It can wait
to be started until the potatoes
hgye nearly completed baking.
The flavorful salmon liquid is
the base for the sauce which con-
tains chunks of protein-rich can-
ned salmon, sliced mushrooms,
green pepper, green onion and
ajufichy fresh bean sprouts. This
nourishing entree is designed for
twPj but could easily be doubled
using two 7%-ounce cans of
salmon or one 15V2-ounce can.
Canned salmon meets the re-
quirements of today’s genera-
particularly those who
are concerned with fitness, good
nutrition and meals that can be with oil. Pierce with fork. Bake
prepared in a minimum of time
For meals in a hurry, use this tender
tasty seafood in hot and hearty
soups, a base for quick quid; break into chunks. Saute
casseroles or in hot or cold sand- mushrooms, pepper and green
wiches. And when it comes to onion in 1 tablespoon oil. Add
entertaining, canned salmon is water to reserved salmon liquid
ideal for hot and cold appetizers, to equal % cup; combine with
salads and special main dishes
