TREASURE HUNT
The Epworth League of the First
Methodist church enjoyed a treasure
hunt Tuesday evening in which five
cars with 18 youhK neoble participated.
Starting at the church at 7:30 o’clock
j envelopes with instructions relative
I to the w-hereabouts of the second clue
I were issued, and the cars were off,
j across fields, taking in practically all
J of the unsaved roads in Hidalgo coun-
I ty, searching for further clues!
I The last Clue was unearthed at. the
home of Miss Mabel Martz, and Irwin
Hendricks had the honor of discover-
ing the treasure, which was a large,
ripe and jucy watermelon. The treas-
ure was cut and had been entirely
dilposed ’of before the other hunterp
arrived.

to the tired and thirsty travelers, who.]
had covered about one hundred miles
in their hunt for the treasure.
