cated. He was arrested and
charged with disorderly conduct
and abusive language.

urday morning after he alleged-
ly tried to steal four rolls of
fishing line and a picture frame
from a store in the 4500 block
of Garth Road. He was issued a
citation and store officials
banned from the store for one
year, police said.
• A brown 1978 Mercury
Cougar, license plate 981VAQ,
was stolen from the 1600 block
of North Alexander Sunday
around 1 a.m.
• A black and gray 1988 Ford
Mustang was stolen from the
600 block of West Nazro Satur-
day night, but was later recov-
ered when it was wrecked at a
local park. About three hours
earlier, however, the car’s owner
had been reported missing by
his mother, and investigation is
continuing.

er and his 23-year-old common-
law wife were arrested around 7
p.m. Saturday after they were
allegedly found to be intoxicat-

Main Street. While officers

tody, however, officers say they
found five grams of marijuana
in his possession. Both were
booked into the Baytown jail on

was arrested for more than just
public intoxication after police
say they saw him staggering
down the sidewalk in the 3400
block of Market Street.
According to police, they
stopped the man and found that
he was carrying a loaded flare
gun on his person. He was
arrested on various charges,
including unlawfully carrying a
weapon.
