It is ollioiiillv announced from

that the proposed Texas "cut
oil'" lines from the 1'ocis Valley
Uailway to the Kan Aiurelo
branch of the Santii Ko will lie
constructed during tlio coming
year. Two routes have been
mentioned in connection with
tli ih lines the bringing of the
two ends of the circle together by
building from San Angolo to
I'ecos and the construction of a
segment of the circle bv buildine:
from Coleman to I'ortales via
Snyder. The latter route is lot)
miles shortor than the former
and would give the Santa Ke the
most direct lino from Sun Frun-
