Mrs. Rosa Leo Beck, wife of
Ollie Bock, died Friday night.
May 21, 1915, of pellagra and
was buried at Macedonia Satur-
day, Rev. J. W. Goodwyn per*
forming the burial services.
She was a member of the
Woodman circle, and members
of the order attended the funeral
rendering tender sympathy and
showing the fraternal love of the
order. Her life was insured in
the order for $1000.
Mrs. Beck was born Feb. 28.
1881. married to MF. Beck Apr. 2
1900. at the time of her death
she was 84 years and 3 months
old, being ill for about two
months but coo fined to her hod
only about one week, in which
time she grew rapidly worse un-
til death relieved her of her suf-
fering Friday night

three motherless children, Irma

Old Carthage loe and Light plant,
held in Dallas laet week, and am
now at work on a tour of inspec-
tion of the wiring of the city of
Carthage. We expect to have
lighte running through a portion
of the city within the next ten
days. Thoee who deeir* lights
will confer a favor upon the man-
agement if they will let them
know of their needs at the earliert
time convenient, ae tNe work of
rewiring, etc., is now going on.
No bueineee house or residence
will reoeive current unless we re-

wiring in the cit? is dangerous,
and must have the roost rigid in-
spection, which will be done by
myself in person before the cur-
rent is turned on. We are at
